We are delighted to bring you our 2025 Daybreak programme! Packed full of visits to popular seaside, leisure and cultural destinations, and some amazing new excursions, there is a Royal Motorways Daybreak for everyone.

 

Iconic new Daybreak Destinations in 2025

Not only have we included additional visits to our most favourite Daybreak destinations - Weston-super-Mare, Abergavenny Market and Moreton-in-Marsh / Bourton-on-the-Water - but we have also added sixteen brand new Daybreaks to our 2025 programme. A visit to the home of Coronation Street offers a unique opportunity to experience first- hand one of Britain's most iconic TV shows. Walking along the famous cobbled streets, you can explore the sets, visit well-known locations like the Rovers Return Inn, and get an insider's view of where all the drama unfolds. The tour is perfect for fans of the show who want to relive memorable moments and experience the behind-the-scenes magic. Springtime in the Vale

Wednesday 9th April 2025

The Vale of Evesham has been famous for its horticulture for centuries and one of its major attractions is the Spring Blossom Trail. Incorporating some of the most beautiful villages to see in Spring, our first stop is Broadway with a wide variety of coffee shops and tearooms. The tour continues, arriving in Pershore in time for lunch. Afterwards we tour through more attractive villages, including the Lenches and finish at the Valley, with its shops, garden centre and café.

Moreton-in-Marsh / Bourton-on-the-Water

Our first stop of the day is at the stunning market location in Moreton-in-Marsh, a showcase of vibrant stalls featuring fresh produce, artisan goods, antiques, and handmade crafts, allowing you to savour the best of the Cotswolds. The picturesque town itself is filled with quaint shops, cosy cafés, and historic architecture, making it the perfect backdrop for a leisurely day out in rural England. After some shopping, we take a trip to Bourton-on-the-Water, which is aptly nicknamed the Venice of the Cotswolds.

Llangollen Boat Trip with Cream Tea

A visit to Llangollen for a boat trip is a perfect way to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the Welsh countryside. Nestled in the heart of the Dee Valley, this charming town offers the chance to cruise along the Llangollen Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stonehenge & Bradford on Avon

Our first stop is at this UNESCO World Heritage site located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire where you will experience the profound history of the one of world's most iconic prehistoric monuments dating back over 4,500 years.

We will then proceed to the picturesque Roman town of Bradford on Avon, where you will have time to explore this charming, historic location famed for its cloth mills and 13th century bridge on the River Avon.

Attingham Park (National Trust) & Percy Thrower's Garden Centre NEW

Wednesday 30th July 2025

This Grade 1 listed National Trust property near Shrewsbury in Shropshire offers a perfect day out for history lovers, nature enthusiasts, and families alike. The Georgian mansion commissioned in 1782 for the 1st Lord Berwick is rich in history, and the Attingham Estate boasts over 4,000 acres of beautiful parkland, walled gardens, woodland trails and a large play area. Once we have explored this great country-house estate, we will head to the local garden centre, once home to famed British gardener and horticulturalist, Percy Thrower.

Visiting Lincoln for a day offers a perfect blend of history, charm, and scenic beauty. Beyond the breathtaking landscapes, Kew Gardens features fascinating exhibitions, serene walking paths, and picturesque lakes, making it an ideal escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The Plum Tour

Wednesday 20th August 2025

Your guided tour will start in Broadway for morning coffee. After a delightful journey around the south side of Bredon Hill, travelling through Beckford, Eckington and Combertons, we arrive in the Georgian town of Pershore, located on the banks of Shakespeare’s river Avon. With a wealth of shops and a unique covered market selling a vast range of locally-produced plum goods, this makes Pershore an ideal place for lunch. Afterwards, we depart for our tour around The Lenches, and a group of villages famous for the Blossom Trail. It is also home to a 70-acre orchard owned by the Vale Heritage Trust, a group whose aim is to preserve pockets of beautiful pieces of local land in the area. Afterwards we return to the Evesham Country Park for time to relax.

London Winter Wonderland

With its dazzling lights, captivating attractions, and delightful seasonal treats, Hyde Park transforms into a Winter Wonderland offering thrilling rides, an ice-skating rink, and a variety of Christmas stalls. The magical atmosphere, complete with live entertainment and festive music, creates unforgettable memories for families, friends, and couples alike.

Chester at Christmas

This historic city transforms into a winter wonderland, with its medieval architecture adorned with festive lights and decorations. The famous Chester Christmas Market, set against the backdrop of the stunning Chester Cathedral, offers a delightful array of handmade gifts, delicious treats, and mulled wine, perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit. Stroll along the charming Rows, lined with unique shops and cosy cafés, and enjoy seasonal performances and carol singing.

Festive Lunch & Show at Studley Castle NEW

Thursday 4th December 2025

​Studley Castle offers a truly enchanting setting for a festive Christmas lunch, blending historic charm with seasonal magic. Nestled in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, this beautiful 19th-century castle provides a cosy yet grand backdrop. Guests are treated to a drinks reception upon arrival followed by a traditional three-course Christmas lunch with all the trimmings (any dietary requirements to be advised to the booking team at time of booking). An afternoon Christmas show will round off this truly festive luncheon courtesy of Warner’s entertainment team.
